Preheat the BBQ grill: Preheat your BBQ grill to high heat. If you are using charcoal, make sure the coals are covered in white ash.
Sear the steak: Place the seasoned steak on the hot grill and sear for about 2-3 minutes per side for a good crust.
Adjust heat: Reduce heat to medium-high and cook to your preferred doneness, roughly 4-6 minutes per side for medium-rare.
Check temperature: Use a meat thermometer to ensure the internal temperature reaches your desired level.
