Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound of ground beef (lean works well)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 packet of taco seasoning mix (you can also use homemade seasoning)
  • 1/2 cup of beef broth or water
  • Salt and pepper (recommended)
  • 1-2 tablespoons of cooking oil (vegetable or olive oil are suggested)

Instructions
 

  • In hot olive oil, cook chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant and translucent (3-5 minutes)
  • Add 1 pound of beef to the skillet with sauteed onion and garlic.
  • For a leaner taco filling, drain excess fat.
  • Sprinkle taco seasoning over beef (adjust for spiciness).
  • Pour in beef broth or water to keep the meat juicy.
  • Reduce heat, and simmer seasoned ground beef briefly, with salt and pepper.
  • Enjoy your seasoned ground beef in taco shells or tortillas.
