- 1 tablespoon of salt
- 2 pounds of chicken tenderloins
In a large pot, bring 2½ quarts of water to a boil. Add 1 tablespoon of salt to the boiling water.
Carefully place the 2 pounds of chicken tenderloins into the pot with the boiling water. Ensure that your chicken are fully submerged.
Remove the pot from the heat source. Cover the pot with a lid to create a sealed environment for cooking.
Allow the chicken to sit in the covered pot for 10 to 12 minutes.
After 10 to 12 minutes, check if the chicken is fully cooked. You can do this by cutting into the center of one of the tenderloins. The meat should be white throughout, without any pinkness.
When the chicken tenders are ready, carefully bring the chicken tenders from the pot to a clean cutting board. Allow the chicken to cool slightly.
